The module deals with corporate finance issues.

Aims

The aim of this Module is to provide the student with the ability to critically evaluate and synthesise issues in the control and decision- making process of multinational corporations.

Statement on Teaching, Learning and Assessment

Teaching and learning on this module will focus on contemporary issues confronting MNCs. The module will use lectures and tutorial/seminar type sessions. While lectures will provide the input to key concepts, themes and theories, seminar and tutorial classes will be used for discussion and analysis of cases and the application of knowledge. Seminar questions/problems will cover discursive and numeracy elements, all of which will be assessed by means of coursework and a 2 hour exam.
